Let me tell you who I am.
I am Odysseus, son of thieves, sacker of cities.
And I live in Ithaca.
Work in-development of a new version of The Odyssey. The foundational story for so much of western culture – a story that has enthralled for millennia. Writer Gavin Kostick, director Conall Morrison and composer Andrew Synnott collaborated with a team of leading theatre artists to create a clear and comprehensive new version of Homer’s tale of wonder for the 21st century.
Developed in May and August 2021, supported by the Arts Council, Kilkenny Arts Festival and Poetry Ireland.
